Why the Menu Changes Weekly
Why Arreu refuses to stay locked into one menu.
We get the question constantly:
“Why don’t you just keep the same menu?”
The short answer is because we’d get bored.
The longer answer is that Arreu was built around movement. Different cities, different moods, different ingredients, different crowds. A rotating menu keeps the truck alive creatively and lets every stop feel unique.
Some weeks people want comfort food. Other weeks they want something louder, sharper, or unexpected. We like responding to that energy instead of forcing the exact same experience everywhere we go.
Changing the menu also keeps the kitchen experimental. New sauces get tested. Old dishes return in different forms. Staff ideas become specials. Mistakes occasionally become favorites.
There’s freedom in not being locked into permanence.
At the same time, rotation creates a different kind of connection. Certain dishes only exist for a weekend or a single route. If you catch them, you catch them. If not, they disappear into Arreu history.
That temporary feeling matters to us.
It makes every stop feel a little more alive.
